XpressionsSNAP! Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is the fabric IFR or flame retardant? How do I get a certificate if needed?
Yes. The fabric is flame-retardant with a U.S. NFPA 701 fire rating. Ask Extraordinary Show Productions Ltd. (ESP) for a certificate anytime.

2. Can the fabric be cleaned?
Yes. The fabric is machine washable on gentle cycle with mild detergent (no bleach). Dry on low heat. The fire-retardant quality of the fabric may be affected after 3-4 washings.

3. How do light fixtures attach?
Light fixtures attach by threading the fixture base between the center of the X (where two bars cross) above each Xpressions frame quad.

4. Does the XpressionsSNAP! display come with feet?
Feet can be purchased as an accessory but are not required for indoor applications. XpressionsSNAP! displays do come with floor levelers.

5. Is there a smaller carry bag for the 1x3 or 2x2 displays?
Not at this time however ESP offers a variety of cases that can be used to transport Xpressions displays.

6. Are the graphics attached to the frame when it is delivered?
Yes. The display is shipped with the graphics attached to the frame. However graphics can be easily changed without returning the frame.

7. How do I take down the display once it is up? Where do I put my hands on the frame?
Place your hands on the middle bars and pull down in a swift controlled motion. This releases all of the magnets at the same time.

8. What accessories are available for XpressionSNAP! Displays?
Accessories that can be purchased separately include light fixtures, light bags, canvas carry cases, hard cases with wheels, shelves, feet, and the XpressionsSNAP! counter.

9. If my frame breaks, can I order a repair kit or do I need to send it back to be repaired?
The best solution is to return the frame for repairs.

10. Will the skins for my current original Xpressions frame fit the XpressionsSNAP! frames?
No. The quad sizes of the original Xpressions are different from those of XpressionsSNAP!

11. I want to be sure to take full advantage of the “X-Factor”. I need to be sure that the things I want to stretch will and the things I don’t want to stretch will not. Are there guidelines to follow?
Yes. Please request guidelines from ESP if we haven’t already sent them to you or if you need another copy.

12. Can I store my display with the graphics attached?
Yes. That is one of the primary advantages of Xpressions displays.

13. How do I set up my XpressionsSNAP! display?
Before setup make sure no fabric graphic panels are wrapped around any of the frame connectors or bars. The frame should be very easy to open and if you feel tension, close it and check again to make sure no fabric is caught on any part of the frame. This will ensure that the fabric graphics and frame do not become damaged during setup. Request setup instructions if they didn’t come with your display or you need another copy.

14. Can I use XpressionsSNAP! outside?
Yes. But the frame must be weighted down with sand or water bags on both the feet and on shelves installed on the bottom of the frame. Do not use outdoors in high wind conditions.

15. What color is the XpressionsSNAP! frame?
Frames are available in black or silver.

16. Can I reposition the graphics on the frame?
In some cases, yes. However individual types (twists, flats, threads) must be attached in a like manner. In other words, a “twist” shouldn’t be used as a “flat”, etc.
