San Diego Business Wins Contract With Dow Jones 50 Company
SAN DIEGO, California, Oct 25, 2005 -- A San Diego trade show display and services business has won its first contract with a top USA company.
Extraordinary Show Productions Ltd. (ESP) clinched the deal to provide services for a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., a Dow Jones 50 company. ESP, a local company which was launched nearly four years ago, has been contracted to provide services for Solar Turbines Incorporated (Solar) at an upcoming technology seminar in Coronado, CA.
ESP founder Sandy Flom said: “The contract demonstrates the confidence Solar has in ESP’s expertise. This is a major event for Solar that involves tremendous preparation and time to develop – planning begins a year in advance.”
ESP will coordinate the poster sessions for the Turbomachinery Technology Seminar to be held March 13-15, 2006 at the Hotel Del Coronado, Coronado, CA.
TTS06 will feature presentations, tutorials, and demonstrations of the latest advances in turbomachinery technology for mechanical and electrical applications in the oil, gas, industrial, and electric utility industries. The poster sessions, essentially a trade show, give attendees from around the world an opportunity to discuss topics in more detail with Solar’s technical experts.
ESP will develop and manage nearly 40 displays with topics derived from technical papers presented in the seminar sessions and tutorials conducted by Solar experts.
Solar Turbines Incorporated is a San Diego-based subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., which is headquartered in Peoria, Illinois. Solar employs about 5000 people worldwide.
