Bannerstands
Bannerstands with banners can be used for a variety of purposes including conventions, trade shows, and outdoor advertising. Retail stores, special events, and schools may also use bannerstands and banners to display sports team names, championships won, theatrical productions, or other events. Companies use outdoor bannerstands and event flags on busy streets to draw customers into their businesses. New businesses use outdoor bannerstands to announce that the business is open and to attract potential customers. Bannerstands and banners are also used at store entrances to feature in-store promotions and sales events. Using banners and bannerstands is a cost effective method of advertising. Exhibitors use bannerstands and banners in their exhibit booth space at trade shows and conventions as well as for special events such as golf tournaments, marathons, company picnics, parties, or festivals. Bannerstands can be set up in the booth space on the floor or on a table to showcase the exhibitor's products and services and attract trade show visitors to their display booth. Bannerstands are made of fabric or other materials depending on whether they will be used indoors or outdoors. Materials used for outdoor banners should be water proof and fade resistant with the ability to withstand different weather conditions such as wind or extreme temperature changes.
Indoor banner displays should be produced of quality materials that will remain great looking use after use. Bannerstands are available as retractable (roll-up) and non-retractable styles. Retractable bannerstands can be set up and taken down quickly. Retractable bannerstands typically come with a 3-piece bungee connected support pole that stores in the base and allows for use of the banner at 3 different heights. Some retractable bannerstands have a telescoping support pole that allows for use of the banner at various heights.
The banner pulls up (rolls up) out of the base and the top of the banner hooks onto the support pole. For take down, the banner retracts or rolls back into the bannerstand base similar to a window shade. Non-retractable bannerstands take a little more time to assemble. The base and support pole are assembled first and the banner which has hardware attached to the back is then hung on the support pole. Both retractable and non-retractable bannerstands pack compactly and require minimal storage space.
